What is today one of the most dynamic cleaning equipment supply companies in
South Africa, resulted from the combination of Sorma S.A. and the cleaning division
that was formerly trading under the Goscor Industrial banner. The merger of the
total product range under Sorma S.A. in 1999 , has enabled the company to offer a
comprehensive product range from commercial vacuum cleaners and detergents to
industrial road sweepers.
Our leading brand , namely TENNANT , has been represented in South Africa for over 30 years and over time has upheld it's reputation for reliability and performance. With the purchase of Sorma Europe by Tennant U.S.A. , manufacturing , engineering and quality control now falls under one roof ensuring these standards and controls continue to advance.
Supplying solutions for most cleaning requirements by providing equipment for mechanised or manual cleaning and supplying a professional after sales service has and will ensure our premium place in the market. Our head office is based in Chloorkop , just North of Kempton Park , with branches in Durban , Cape Town and Port Elizabeth. We apply an equal opportunity standard to our employment charter with great emphasis on training to ensure professionalism. We have developed an in-house "Black Economic Trust" to offer finance options, on our equipment, to emerging BEE service providers. At present we secure 90% of our imported content via Safcor whom qualify for full BEE status. We are also investigating various options in terms of our own BEE status with regards to our shareholders and senior management.
Our shareholders , management and staff have an in-depth knowledge of the equipment and systems we market and maintain therefore it is imperative that any changes made at these levels are in accordance with the company standards.
