Beer	Colourless to light yellow, slightly stiff / hops, malt, alcohol, albumins, tannin	Apply detergent solution and blot. Apply vinegar solution. Blot frequently. Rinse with water. Blot until dry.
Blood	Reddish when fresh, dries to dark brown with irregular edges. Albumin, fat, fibrin, iron	Apply cool detergent solution, blot. Apply cool ammonia solution, blot. Apply enzyme solution, blot.Rinse thoroughly with water, blot until dry. If stain remains, apply rust remover or oxalic acid solution. Bleaching with 3% to 5% hydrogen peroxide may be necessary
Butter and margarine	Greasy, yellowish red, sometimes build-up, milk, vegetable dye, corn oil, salt, preservatives, vegetable fats.	Apply dry cleaning solvent, blot. Apply detergent solution, blot until dry. Apply vinegar solution, blot. Rinse with water, blot until dry.
Candle wax	Stiff and build-up. Petroleum, animal fats and oils, basic dyes	Scrape off as much as possible with a spatula or dull knife. Apply absorbent paper and warm iron. Apply dry-cleaning solvent. Apply Sorma Paint, oil and grease remover (POG) Blot. Apply dry-cleaning solvent, blot.
Chutney and tomato sauce	Reddish brown, absorbed or build-up. Tomatoes, salt, vinegar, sugar spices tannin, onions.	Apply cool detergent solution, blot. Apply Ammonia solution, blot. Apply enzyme detergent, blot. If stain remains, bleach with 3% to 5% hydrogen peroxide or with sodium perborate. Rinse thoroughly with water, blot until dry.
